#2949 - Plugin crashing site with Mautic 2.16.3
Hello,
I have during the course of the day installed this plugin to a fresh Mautic instance four times. Each time after activating the plugin and following the instructions to completion we receive either a 'site is offline' message or a 503 error. Each time we have to re-install Mautic each time as it cannot be recovered.
Please can you advise why this plugin crashes our site? Also, please can you confirm why the file permissions must be 777? Does this not create a massive security risk having it open to the world for read, write and execute?
We are running Mautic 2.16.3 on CentosOS7 w. cPanel.

I need more information: 1. What version of SuiteCRM? 2. What version of PHP? 3. Are Mautic and SuiteCRM on one server or separately?

Thanks for your reply. In answer to your questions, we are running Suite 7.11.15, on php 7.2. Both Mautic and SuiteCRM on the same server.
However, I think this is irrelevant to the issue at this stage as we are not even getting close to connecting Mautic to SuiteCRM. The suitecrm plugin is installed correctly.
When the mautic plugin is installed on the mautic instance it breaks the whole and delivers the site is offline message.
I am currently having to install Mautic for the fifth time.

Hello,
Further to the earlier message, I have completed another fresh Mautic install. The plugin has failed again and here is the entry in the logs straight after installing the Mautic plugin in the Mautic instance 2.1.6.3. The site is now off-line again.
