#1443 - Supported LibreOffice versions
Hello! One of our clients is complaining that they cannot generate PDFs on their environment, or more precisely, the PDF cannot be opened ("Failed to load PDF document"), whereas we can do it just fine. What we found though, is that they are using LibreOffice 6.0, whereas we are using 5.2. The question is, which versions of LibreOffice are compatible with MailMerge? Or is any version compatible and the error is someplace else? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
MMR has not been tested with LibreOffice 6.0 yet. However, compatibility is only at the level of the command that is released for LibreOffice to generate the PDF, which probably hasn't changed between versions of LibreOffice, but we're not sure about that. We will try to test the component with LibreOffice 6.0 in the next version.

Unfortunately, I can't provide additional knowledge. All I can report is that our Ubuntu Server 16.04 comes with LibreOffice 5.1.6.2 and with this version, PDF generation works.
