#1736 - Email shown as archived in outlook plugin despite deletion from Suite CRM record.

Following are the steps to recreate scenario

  1. Use Implicit Front End Outlook plug-in to archive email in against Contact/Account in Suite CRM
  2. Open same Contact/Account in Suite CRM Web
  3. Delete archived email from Contact/Account in Suite CRM Web
  4. Email is still shown as archived record In outlook plugin

    Emails are being archived from Outlook to SuiteCRM. They are not synced. There is no synchronization of emails. Therefore when an email is archived to SuiteCRM and later on deleted from SuiteCRM, they are not deleted from Outlook

      Thanks for prompt reply and clarification.

      In the light of this limitation,can you please help by suggesting possible solution/workaround to scenario where email is archived against wrong entity from add-in and it need to be removed and archived against right entity.

    Just delete the email from the wrong record and archive again

      Is there a option to delete email against wrong record in Implicit Front End Outlook plug-in because deletion from SuiteCRM is not reflecting as there is no two way sync.

    No. As we mentioned, deleting an email from SuiteCRM will not delete the email from Outlook.

      So it means, once an email is archived against a record in Outlook plug-in,it stays there for ever ?

    Is there any way to remove email from record in Implicit Front End Outlook plug-in?
