#4627 - I keep getting the message "Cannot connect to Twilio."
Hello,
I installed the package on my SuiteCRM 7.12.8 system. I'm attempting to validate the license, but when I check the console and network, it keeps calling the "GenerateCapabilityToken" action and getting the Cannot connect to Twilio error. I haven't validated my purchase license yet, so why is it looking for a Twilio connection? All these requests are unnecessary. Due to these errors, I am getting 500 on my purchase key validation. Error: Exception settings ('Cannot connect to Twilio') Exception in custom/modules/Calls/GenerateCapabilityToken.php: 'Cannot connect to Twilio' (26)

We have tested it on our end. It would be great if you can share your response on the following:
Did your installation complete successfully? We've had issues in installing the plugin with PHP 8.0 which reproduces the error you faced. If the installation was successful, then kindly share your instance credentials so we can investigate further. You can share them at [email protected]
We tried with an older version of PHP (7.4.33), and that did not generate any errors.

Hi Nitin,
Our plugin is compatible with PHP 7.4 and below, but with PHP 8.0 we're having issues in installation, which is causing the root error you've reported. On the module Loader, the package is missing, hence we are assuming that the package is not fully installed on your instance.
We can use the following two approaches,
Downgrade to PHP 7.4, or we can wait until we have worked on making our plugin compatible with PHP 8, and then provide you with a new package that you can use.
Your SuiteCRM instance has some residual files that are causing the config module to appear in the admin panel. We'll be sending you a package to remove them on Monday.

Hope you are well.
We looked into your CRM instance and deduced that there might be some installation issue on your instance as the package wasn't installed completely.
We have successfully installed the package now and would be great if you can make Twilio & License configurations on the CRM instance by going to Admin -> RT Telephony Configurations by following the guide Guide Link. Once Twilio is configured, the errors in the console will automatically be removed.
Let us know if you still face any issues while configuring and we can schedule a call to complete this.
