#4686 - Plugin Compatible with OAuth configuration
With the latest version of SuiteCRM it is possible to configure an OAuth provider for login. Will the Outlook plugin be compatible to this form of user authentication. Because within the plugin we need to name user and password but if the user will authenticate to the system itself via OAuth flow I expect that there will be no password anymore in SuiteCRM that can be used within the Outlook plugin. Are you consider to support OAuth also in the plugin?

At the moment there is no support for SAML. We are working on a new release with this support but do not have an expected release date.

Is it possible to use the Outlook Plugin with username and password while using SAML authentication for the UI? I think in this case the user need to create a password in the system after the logged in via SAML, is this possible?

Currently, if you have SMAL set up you cannot use our Outlook Plugin. This is stated in our Documentation of the Plugin.
We hope to support SAML in the near future.
