#4641 - Configuration failed (in Outlook but the error seems to be in the backend?)

Closed Bug? created by FLBE a year ago

Following the installation instructions failed in Outlook showing the message: "It was not possible to parse your key, reason: "

Within the logs of SuiteCRM I can only see one entry despite I increased the log level:

1.1.0.1 - - [03/Jan/2023:13:59:06 +0000] "POST /Api/access_token HTTP/1.1" 500 85

I am testing with bitnami docker container running version 7.12.8 using php8 (https://github.com/bitnami/containers/tree/main/bitnami/suitecrm/7/debian-11).

A little bit of research indicates that it is most likely an issue with php8? - https://github.com/bitnami/vms/issues/509 - https://community.suitecrm.com/t/api-and-docker-error-it-was-not-possible-to-parse-your-key

I also tried to call the API via Postman that ends up with the same error message (maybe an issue with the API and not with the Add-On?): postman.png

    Good morning,

You are correct, this appears to be a core bug in the SuiteCRM application when used with PHP8

Our product team are currently investigating and this will be resolved in a future release of SuiteCRM.

I think this issue breakes the API: https://github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM-Core/issues/185 Going back to an old bitnami image running on php7 the API works again. But php7 is no longer an option because it is out of support since 12/22.
