#274 - Using the enter key to search [now included in 3.0.3]

Closed Feature created by ian 7 years ago

Hi again.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature (or an issue at my end), but typing a search term for archiving works well if I use the mouse to click on "Search" but not if I press the enter key on my keyboard.

I'm slowly getting the hand of that, but it's a reflex to hit enter after typing the search text & the result is always "There are no search results".

Clicking OK with the mouse & then clicking serach brings up the search results as expected.

Using Windows 10 64 (pro) with Outlook 2016 desktop (Office 365 desktop apps) & exchange online. (2 separate computer devices using the same suitecrm account & email & getting the same result on both)

cheers

Ian

My (new) workaround fo rthe above is to type the search term & then press tab before pressing enter.

That moves the highlight to the search button & overcomes the issue.
