In my instance of sugar, cases has a host of panels. Some of the fields in the panels are required, others are not. If the invisible fields are required will the user be able to save the record? thanks

    Hello Jkoop,

Yes. User able to save record.

For example, Cases has Overview Panel.

Overview panel has below Fields : Subject : (Mandatory) Account Name : (Mandatory) Priority : (Non - Mandatory) State : (Non - Mandatory) Status : (Non - Mandatory)

Dynamic Panel Configuration : Default Fields Hide : Subject

When you create a case, Default field will be hide as configuration and user able to save record. We had remove the mandatory field validation if user hide any mandatory field by configuration

    Hi

First off apologies for a naive question My client has the trial period at the moment on a test copy of their CRM

They have a field on Account (Account Type) which is either Individual or Business

They have a second field for the SIC Code (although a custom field type it is effectively a drop down) in the same panel as Account Type They want the SIC Code to be mandatory when Business is selected but Non-mandatory when Individual is selected.

In both cases they want the field visible and available

    Is this possible

    Thanks

    Tony

Hi, you were going to see if you could update the plugin to work with Security Groups instead of only directly connected Roles. Did the development team come to a conclusion and, if you can update it, how long. Our client's trial period I believe runs out in a week

      Kind regards

      Tony

    Hello,

We have released new version of Dynamic Panels on SuiteCRM Store and it's cover your requirement to apply Dynamic Panels feature based on Security Group.

    Roles and Security Group

**Scenario 1 : **If Dynamic Panels setup for Roles then it'll check the Login User Roles which is directly assigned to it. If it's matched with the Configuration then Dynamic Panels feature apply.

Scenario 2 : If Dynamic Panels setup for Security Group then it'll check the Login User Security Group which is directly assigned to it. If it's matched with the Configuration then it'll check Login User Roles which directly assigned to it. If Security Group and Roles both matched with Configuration then Dynamic Panels feature apply.

You can download the new version from SuiteCRM Store & Update in your SuiteCRM according to your SuiteCRM Version and Plan which you have purchased.

    Regards, Variance Infotech PVT LTD
